Dallas Loves Lindsey

I have been dying to get this post up forever, I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed the wedding….

This is the wedding of two of my favorite people in the world.  I feel so blessed to have been a part of such a special day.  The wedding took place at the beautiful Chiricahua Clubhouse at Dessert Mountain in Arizona.  This tuscan style building overlooked the gorgeous Arizona dessert and paid tribute to the couples engagement in Tuscany.  The story is straight from a movie – Dallas purchased two matching gold bands while the couple was traveling through Rome.  Later on during their trip, Dallas took Lindsey to Monsanto, a beautiful castle like vineyard in Tuscany.  He had arranged for a professional photographer to document the whole event without Lindsey knowing.  They walked up the staircase to a patio overlooking the vineyard, and Dallas got down on one knee.  The rest is history….

Thank you to Jennifer Bowen Photography for these AMAZING images!

The Details:

The stunning desert views created a perfect backdrop for an outdoor ceremony and reception.  The bride wanted the color palette and look to reflect the dessert colors, this inspired a mix of soft neutrals including ivory, champagne, peach, blush and green.  Rustic touches such as wood tables, ceramics, lace linens, rod iron chandeliers and succulents were used throughout.  The bride’s stunning Amsale dress was definitely my favorite dress this year!

Congratulations, Lindsey and Dallas!

Jeff Loves Angela

Jeff and Angela were an amazing couple to work with.  I have never seen a couple so in love with each other.  They had the sweetest story.  These two were high school sweethearts who continued their relationship through college and then got married in a double wedding with Angela’s sister.  After 5 years, their career paths lead them in different directions and they parted ways.  Amazingly, almost 20 years later, Angela’s career lead her back to Dallas and brought the two of them right back together. They decided to get married again March 3rd at St. Andrews in Plano.  The main reason for this wedding was to demonstrate to their two children the importance of marriage.  The event was very setimental, all the guests were long time friends who knew their complete story.  Jeff escorted Angela down the aisle where they were joined by their two children and Angela’s Sister and Brother in Law (whom they shared a wedding with many years ago).

A GORGEOUS reception followed at the Four Seasons Resort.  Angela and Jeff wanted the reception to have a reunion style feel as if it was hosted in their own home.  Ashley Brinkley Events worked with Bella Flora to create a room which gave a sweet, southern comfort vibe.  We paired a classic and soft pallet of ivory, natural greens, and a faint spring blush with beautiful elements of burlap, lace, and natural woods.  The Four Seasons Chef worked with us to create an amazing custom menu of Texas Farm to Table Microplates, all of which wowed the guests.

Gary Loves Kendra

We were super excited to partner with Deanie Michelle Events for this gorgeous wedding at Union Station.  We worked with a fabulous team of vendors including Nest Floral Studio, Beyond, Apple Guy of Dallas Photography and Frosted Art.  The ceremony took place at the picturesque Park Cities Baptist.  Nest Floral Studio and Beyond created a stunning ambiance at Union Station.  Guests were greeted with a stunning candlelit stair case leading up to the dramatic ballroom.   Everyone enjoyed great food from Wolfgang Puck Catering and danced the night away to the styling’s of Professor D.  One of my favorite parts of the night was when Kendra and all her friends circled around Gary and sang their sorority wedding song.  And then there were the cakes…  The bride’s cake was designed to match the back of her stunning dress, and the Groom’s cake was a replica of his newest toy and the couples getaway car.  Amazing!

Congratulations Gary and Kendra!
